U.S. College Students For Ethiopia (USCSE) provides college students from the United States the opportunity to intern with Ethiopian-led organizations headquartered in Ethiopia and engage in a community service project empowering local youth. The project's mission is to:
-
Tackle the shortage of a skilled and educated workforce in Ethiopia by bridging the communication
and access gap between U.S. college students and Ethiopian organizations
-
Create a thriving environment for volunteerism and community engagement in Ethiopia
- Raise consciousness of service to Ethiopia among Ethiopian-American college students
"I realized how important it is to bridge Ethiopians abroad and those in the country...It has been a summer of growth and one I will not soon forget."
-USCSE 2011 Intern

"The people I am surrounded with through USCSE, family, and my internship and the frankness of Ethiopia have taught me more in two weeks than I learned in the past year."
